Nashvillians are invited to hear from Sheri Sellmeyer, author of “Nashville’s New Americans: Tracing the Journeys of Immigrant Neighbors,” in conversation with Cindy Abrams on Saturday, April 11, as a part of the Tennessee State Museum’s TN Writers | TN Stories series.

In her book, Sellmeyer explores how immigrants are transforming Nashville from a mid‑sized city known for its country music industry to an increasingly diverse, multicultural destination. Immigrants are building skyscrapers, running successful restaurants, researching diseases, performing music, holding public office + more.
