Just like the rest of Nashville and beyond, we are devastated by the shooting that took place at The Covenant School. It’s important for us to share ways we can help the families, teachers, students, and others affected by this tragedy.

Whether you decide to donate or gather in support, here are opportunities to give back to our community.

  • The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee has launched the Caring for Covenant Fund, which will be directed to The Covenant School.
  • GoFundMe has a verified list of fundraisers for people affected by the shooting on its website. The page will be updated with more fundraisers as they are verified.
  • The National Mass Violence Victimization Resource Center has a list of resources for survivors, educators, caregivers, and community leaders.
  • Daystar Counseling Ministries is offering counseling at no charge for Covenant families, as well as directly affected families new to Daystar.

Some local businesses will be donating a percentage of sales to support those affected by the shooting. Refer to individual business pages for details.

Dog Bandana Co. is selling a new “Nashville Strong” dog bandana with “100% of profits donated to victims and their families.”

All proceeds from this Nashville print by artist Cris Clapp Logan will go to support the families affected by tragedy. The original and prints of this piece are available on Etsy.

Stop by section 106/107 at remaining Nashville Predators home games this season to purchase a “Smashville Strong” shirt ($20) and helmet sticker ($5). You can also text Preds to 76278 to buy a shirt online.

Sugar Drop is hosting a city-wide virtual bake sale with 100% of the profits going to the Covenant Church community. Learn more about the initiative.

A multitude of Nashville-based artists — including Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Ben Rector, and more — will perform at “A Night of Joy: Celebrating The Covenant School” on Wednesday, April 12. All proceeds from the 7 p.m. concert at The Fisher Center will benefit The Covenant School.

Did we miss a way to help? Send us an email and we will continue to update this list on our website.
