James Beard-nominated restaurateur Sam Fox plans to open Pushing Daisies — his first bar and third overall concept at Fifth + Broadway — on Thurs., Nov. 17. The speakeasy-style bar will be underground below Blanco Cocina + Cantina and specialize in margarita-focused cocktails.
Y’all were really excited
when we dished on Pushing Daisies earlier this year, so here’s a sneak peek at three cocktails on the menu:
- Mucho Matcha | 400 canejos mezcal, matcha, yuzu sour, egg white, and bamboo leaf
- ¡Vamanos! | Reposado tequila, Borghetti espresso liqueur, Spanish vanilla, and cinnamon spiced cold brew
- Devil’s VICE | Jalapeno-soaked blanco tequila, smashed strawberry, clementine, blistered shishito, and finishing salt
The bar will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. until late night.
