Make a splash at Nashville’s water attractions

With summer around the corner, here are three ways to cool off around Music City.

Summer’s on the way, and so are Nashville’s signature scorching days. Cool off with a visit to one of the city’s splash-worthy water attractions.

Nashville Shores, 4001 Bell Rd.

Opening day: Saturday, May 10
Highlights: Wave pool, 10 water slides, Kowabunga Beach water playground, giant tipping bucket, a lazy river, and a lakeside beach
Admission: $37+ per person, children 2 and under get in free

Wave Country, 2320 Two Rivers Pkwy.

Opening day: Saturday, May 24
Highlights: Wave pool, two flumes, two speed slides, a kiddie pool and slide, playground, and floats while supplies last
Admission: $9+ per person, children 2 and under get in free

SoundWaves, Gaylord Opryland Resort

Opening day: Indoor attractions are open year round; outdoor attractions are open select dates mid-May through Labor Day
Highlights: Tube slides with LED lights, indoor surfing, rapid and lazy rivers, a splash pad, a multi-level play structure, and an adults-only pool and bar
Admission: Entry is only guaranteed with the SoundWaves Water Experience overnight package — local resident deals are offered on select dates.
