One of Nashville’s newest hotels has officially opened its second restaurant concept. Beverage-centric Thistle & Rye started serving up vibrant cocktails and globally-inspired small plates last week on the third floor of Midtown’s Conrad Nashville.

Florals for fall — truly groundbreaking.

NASHtoday’s picks: The Hermitage (the smoky lilac number you see being made in the video above) + the KFC Korean Fried Cauliflower.

The 13+ specialty cocktails you see on the menu are inspired by the era of time in which they are categorized. The Hermitage (made with Empress, Cointreau, St-Germain, lemon juice, and lemongrass) is an elevated take on the lemon drop, a drink that rose to popularity in the Dark Ages.
