We’re painting the picture of what your upcoming weekend could look like. From Saturday, May 11 (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) through Sunday, May 12 (11 a.m.-5 p.m.), the City of Hendersonville will host its inaugural Hendersonville Arts Festival at Sanders Ferry Park.
The free community gathering will bring 75+ artisans from Middle Tennessee and beyond to showcase paintings, photography, fine jewelry, ceramics, glass, and other works. Bonus: You can also expect demonstrations from Nashville Drum Art and The Longest Thread.
For the kids
The Creative Zone featuring chalk art and hands-on activities with organizations like the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (design your own musical instrument) and Nashville Children’s Theatre (create your own fish “Finding Nemo"-inspired craft) is open until 3 p.m. both days.
