Radnor Lake Named ‘State Park of the Year’ in Tennessee

This 1,367-acre natural area is located south of downtown in Oak Hill.

Radnor Lake State Park has been named “Park of the Year ” by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. The park was chosen among 56 state parks and received an additional award for its “performance in sustainability.”

In fact, there’s much to celebrate. Over the past year, the park welcomed an American Bald Eagle nest , helped recycle 900 Christmas trees, debuted the first ADA-accessible colorblind viewfinder in Tennessee, and hosted 1,500 volunteers.
