60 minutes. That’s how much daylight Nashville will have gained over the course of April, ushering in longer, sun-soaked evenings. In other words, it’s officially patio season, so make plans to enjoy dinner al fresco at one of these local restaurants.

Dining at Butcher & Bee calls for whipped feta, a house cocktail, and a seat on the patio under string lights and greenery.

The patio is bright and colorful, with a dog-friendly yard and tennis balls for sale at the counter. Go for the collard green melt, a frozen bev, and whatever limited-time special is on the menu.

These new private, climate-controlled greenhouses seat up to eight guests and offer a candlelit dining experience with seasonal florals throughout. Reservations are available through Friday, Nov. 6, with each seating lasting one hour and 45 minutes.

When you see the pink house in Riverside Village, you’ve found the right spot. The covered back patio is partially enclosed and decorated with paper lanterns above the tables.
Metro Council approved new zoning for the former scrapyard site along the Cumberland River. The bill caps hotels at 12, bans new stadiums or arenas, and prioritizes walking, biking, and transit for the future neighborhood, now referred to as Wasioto Bend. (WSMV)

Nashville Humane Association’s specialty license plate cleared the 1,000 sign-up mark and is now in production. Those who preordered a plate will be notified when it’s available for pickup this fall, at which point sign-ups are expected to reopen.
