News Notes

Real Estate

A Four Seasons penthouse is listed for $33.5 million, which would make it the most expensive home sale in Davidson County history if it sells at that price — surpassing a $28 million Belle Meade estate in 2024. Ready to see inside the potential record-breaker? (Nashville Business Journal)

Development

Nashville’s Chinatown development in Antioch is making progress. While no official opening date has been shared, Councilmember Joy Styles said Pan-Asia Supermarket (the anchor tenant) is expected to debut later this month with 10,000+ products and a 3,700-sqft food court. (WZTV)

Open

Cilantro Mexican Grill is up and running in the Gulch space last occupied by The Eastern Peak. The menu takes cues from Cilantro’s other two locations, with a wide variety of tacos, seafood dishes, specialty plates, margaritas, and tequila-forward cocktails.

Closed

Make a Play Hospitality has closed SupperClub on Belcourt in Hillsboro Village. The team, which also operates Jar10 and Bungalow10, shared the news on social media, hinting at “new and exciting concepts in the future.”

Number

The Tennessee Titans secured the No. 4 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, behind only the Raiders, Jets, and Cardinals, after ending the season with a 3-14 record. Now, the team turns its focus to landing a new head coach with interview requests underway. (The Tennessean)

Plan Ahead

The 34th annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival is set for Tuesday, March 24 through Saturday, March 28. This year’s event will unite 400+ songwriters for up to 100 shows at 10 venues. The full lineup drops Thursday, Feb. 26, and tickets sales begin Tuesday, March 3.

1,116. That’s how many responses we received from readers during our Giving Campaign.

We analyzed all of those responses to learn more about what you enjoy — and want to see more of — in our newsletters. Here’s what you said:
  • ~20-25% of messages expressed that local info + events are our key value. These readers probably love the Events and News Note sections of our newsletter, along with our monthly Plan Ahead.
  • ~15–20% highlighted NASHtoday’s fun, positive tone.
  • ~10% said that we’re part of their morning routine, and we couldn’t be happier to accompany your morning cup of coffee.
  • ~10% praised our brevity + easy-to-read format, so we’ll be sure to keep this short.
  • Several people also called out our support of small businesses + our “no-politics” approach. Psst: More formalized small business coverage is coming soon, so be on the lookout.

The Wrap

If you’re still thinking about what to submit for today’s question about your favorite meal in Nashville last year, I’ll share mine: Kase x Noko’s 14-course omakase experience left a strong impression, and because I can’t choose just one, my favorite weekend lunch stop is Succulent Vegan Tacos when they have jackfruit tamales.
