Spicy crab noodles and other Two Ten Jack favorites are coming to the West side. After nearly 12 years in East Nashville, the Japanese-inspired izakaya plans to open a location in Sylvan Park this spring in the space formerly home to Otaku Ramen. (Nashville Business Journal)

$4.5 billion. That’s the updated price tag for Oracle’s forthcoming East Bank campus, up from the $1.2 billion projected cost announced in 2021, due to an expanded footprint and higher construction costs. Look back at the latest renderings released in October. (Nashville Business Journal)

Ocean Prime is making waves in Nashville Yards, where the seafood, steak, and sushi restaurant is set to open in March. The biz opened a hiring office to fill 120 positions ahead of the opening.

Outdoor retailer L.L.Bean will open its first Tennessee store in Franklin next year as part of its national expansion plans. The company hasn’t announced the exact location but lists a July opening. (WKRN)

Jelly Roll just earned one of country music’s biggest honors: an invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry. Craig Morgan delivered the news in a surprise video message to the Nashville native, who first appeared on the Opry stage in 2021. His induction date will be announced soon. (The Tennessean)

Sunday at sundown marks the beginning of Hanukkah — the Jewish Festival of Lights. Head to the annual Metro Nashville Menorah Lighting on Monday, Dec. 15 or check out these celebrations later in the week.

The New York Times’ food staff rounded up their favorite dishes in the US this year, and Alebrije’s asparagus tostada made the cut. Writer Brett Anderson praised the East Nashville restaurant’s springtime special for its nixtamalized heritage corn base topped with crema, queso, and chopped asparagus.
