A heat advisory remains in effect for most of Middle Tennessee through Friday, June 27 at 7 p.m. With highs in the mid-90s and heat indexes up to 107°, you might find today’s story on rentable pools and this roundup of local water attractions especially useful.

Five Points Pizza’s new walk-up slice window is now open at Canopy by Hilton Nashville in the Gulch. Swing by for cheese, pepperoni, and rotatiting veggie slices from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, or order select 14-inch pizzas inside the hotel at Silo.

In other cheesy news, Prince St. Pizza plans to open its first Tennessee location at Fifth + Broadway in early 2026. The restaurant specializes in Neapolitan-style pies and Spicy Spring slices — a Sicilian-style favorite so beloved you can even have it shipped to your door.

Punch your free ticket to the Predators’ NHL Draft watch party at Bridgestone Arena on Friday, June 27. Doors open at 4 p.m. for Smashville Loyal members and 5:30 p.m. for the public. Expect giveaways, games, and alumni autographs as Nashville makes three first-round picks: No. 5, 23, and 26.
