🏗️ One year in

Want to take a spin through the new Nissan Stadium? No, really — buckle up. This one-minute drone clip zips through the construction site, showing just how far along the project is one year after breaking ground.

With the foundation completely poured, the next milestones for the $2.1 billion stadium will be the concrete structure reaching its full height by mid-year, followed shortly by the steel frame topping out. In the second half of 2026, work will shift to completing the roof and installing the seating.

If everything stays on schedule, the stadium is on track to open in spring 2027. On Feb. 21, Titans SVP and COO Dan Werly said he anticipates the College Football Playoffs, WrestleMania, and even the Super Bowl could come to Nashville within the next 10 years. The stadium is expected to host 40 to 50 events annually.

Bonus: Get a closer look at the stadium’s features + track construction progress with this live camera.

🎨 Color in motion

The Frist Art Museum is bursting with even more color now thanks to a new interactive installation in the Martin ArtQuest space.

Created by Frank Kirk, a student at Watkins College of Art at Belmont University, the piece invites visitors to engage with the fundamentals of color theory through movement and silhouette.

Curious how it works? Step into the frame, and your silhouette will glow in a primary color. As others join, their silhouettes overlap with yours, creating vibrant secondary hues. The result is a living palette that’s as educational as it is playful, according to Kirk.

Pro tip: “Color Theory” is open to all ages and included with museum admission.
