With October upon us and the school year in full swing, it’s a good time to pause and reflect (ideally with a cozy drink in hand): How is the student in your life doing?
Whether you have a house full of kiddos or are going back to school yourself, Wyzant‘s vetted instructors can help with 300+ topics, from academic core subjects and foreign languages to test prep, musical instruments, and more.
Meet in person with a local tutor, or take lessons virtually. The best part? It’s pay-as-you-go and starts as low as $10/session.
The Titans defeated the Miami Dolphins 31-12 last night, the team’s first win of the season under Coach Brian Callahan. Kicker Nick Folk matched a career high with five field goals — review other game highlights. The Titans play the Indianapolis Colts at home on Sunday, Oct. 13 following a bye weekend.
Real Estate
Put your game face on. Former Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry’s Green Hills property is up for sale, ringing in at nearly $3.3 million. The gated six-bed, five-and-a-half-bath home features a scullery kitchen, bonus room with a bar, and in-ground pool. See inside.
Biz
The Midtown building last home to Mellow Mushroom (212 21st Ave. S.) will see a new restaurant tenant, according to permits. Gen Korean BBQ House is slated for the space, and if it’s the chain by the same name, this would mark Tennessee’s first location. (Nashville Post)

Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning return to host the 58th annual CMA Awards alongside Lainey Wilson, which takes over Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. Fans at home can watch live on ABC or catch up the next day on Hulu. Stay tuned for performers + presenters.
Concert
“On My Way to You,” Bridgestone Arena. Cody Johnson makes a stop at the Nashville staple on Saturday, Feb. 15. Ashley McBryde and Drew Baldridge join the “Leather Deluxe” tour date as special guests. Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m.
