In today’s ever-changing economy, the price of planting roots in Music City is bound to fluctuate. Back in December 2022 when we posted our guide on the cost of living in Nashville, the median household income was $66,047. Today looks a little different…
The median household income has risen by ~$5,300, but the overall cost of living in our city is still higher than the national average. The cost of healthcare has remained the same and is lower compared to other parts of the state and the US. However, the cost of groceries, housing, transportation, and other miscellaneous expenses in the city have higher average costs than other cities in Tennessee and the country overall.
