Of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the US, 84 are located right here in the Nashville area — with one Brentwood business holding the No. 3 spot nationwide.

The 2024 Inc. 5000 list is here, and we’re breaking down what Metro’s total growth looked like, as well as meeting some of the regional companies that made the cut.

Metro’s claim to fame

Brentwood’s Monogram Health ranked No. 3 with 43,848% three-year revenue growth. The health care company was founded in 2019 and provides in-home clinical care for kidney disease.

The company has grown from $4.9 million in 2020 to nearly $2.2 billion in 2023. Monogram Health projected $160 million in savings for its clients in 2023 and now provides care for patients across 35 states.

Nashville by the numbers

So, how do businesses make the Inc. 5000? The annual list ranks companies based on three-year revenue growth. Companies on this year’s list had to be privately held, for profit, and independently owned at the end of 2023.

The 84 Nashville-area businesses had a collective 209% median growth rate, 11,251 jobs added, and 45 are repeat honorees. Additionally, 13 of these companies are newly founded.

Everything begins on Thursday, Sept. 12 with an add-on concert by Ukrainian folk-punk quartet DakhaBrakha, who returns to Music City after a local sold-out debut last year.
