  • This is rad. Amanda Frederickson, the owner of Radish, plans to open a new concept early next year in the Belle Meade area — 6045 Hwy. 100. Little Rad Market is described as a “quick service, high quality neighborhood market.” Keep up with the biz on Instagram.
Development
  • Convenience store chain Wawa is eyeing yet another area location, this time in Antioch at 3332 Murfreesboro Pk. While we await more details, including a construction timeline, the proposed 16-pump Bellevue location will seek approval on Thursday, Dec. 14. (Nashville Business Journal)
Announced
  • e|spaces plans to grow its footprint in Green Hills. The new 20,000-sqft standalone location (1 Burton Hills Blvd., Suite 300E) is expected to open in February and will feature flexible meeting and office space, a kitchen and cafe, and conference rooms.
Concert
  • You oughta know, Alanis Morissette is coming to Bridgestone Arena on Sunday, June 23 with special guests Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Morgan Wade. The venue also announced that indie pop trio AJR will take the stage on Wednesday, July 31. Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 17.

  • Slim & Husky’s is expanding to Williamson County. The Nashville-based chain is eyeing a summer opening at The Factory at Franklin. To celebrate, Slim & Husky’s food truck will be parked at The Factory on Monday, Nov. 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Williamson Source)

  • Veterans Day (honored Saturday, Nov. 11 + observed by public offices today) is a federal holiday commemorating people who have served in the United States Armed Forces. ECHO is a concert series like no other in Nashville

Fun fact: The Parthenon will transform into one of Nashville’s most unique concert venues this winter.

ECHO, a five-concert series, features composers and contemporary ensembles playing chamber music created or arranged for the distinct reverb of the Parthenon Naos. It’s all set against the backdrop of the 42-ft Athena statue.
