Lace up your running shoes, Nashville — fall race season is sprinting into view. Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or a first-timer, there’s something for everyone.

Hustle for the House | Saturday, Sept. 16 | 7:30 a.m. | $24+ | Hillsboro-West End Neighborhood | This 5k and 1-mile fun run is designed for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities — and you can even register your pup for $10.
The Whiskey Run | Sunday, Sept. 17 | 7:30 a.m. | $54+ | 2320 Two Rivers Pkwy. | Choose from a half-marathon, 10k, or 5k with whiskey sampling at the finish line.
Nashville Predators Fangtastic 5k | Saturday, Sept. 23 | 7 a.m. | Downtown Nashville | TBA | Enjoy a 3.1-mile walk or run near Bridgestone Arena — registration includes a ticket to a select Nashville Predators game and more.
Golden Pheasant Triathlon | Sunday, Sept. 24 | 8:30 a.m. | Shelby Park and Bottoms | $55+ | Participants will kayak 2 miles on the Cumberland River, bike 8 miles on the Shelby Park greenway, and run a 3-mile loop around the park.
St. Jude Walk/Run | Saturday, Sept. 30 | 9 a.m. | Nissan Stadium, Lot C | Set your own fundraising goal | Walk or run while raising money for childhood cancer research.

Follow the yellow brick road… to the Fairlane Hotel’s next rooftop pop-up bar. “Emerald City at Fairlane” will transform the space into a “glistening green realm” inspired by the musical. It opens Saturday, Sept. 9 — one month before “Wicked” arrives at TPAC.

If you’re looking to adopt a pet this week, 100 adopters will receive $25 off their fees at Williamson County Animal Center. Through the end of August, adopt an adult cat or dog for $25 and a puppy for $60.

The Nashville Symphony is rolling out five new parking options for the 2023-2024 season. Reserve parking in advance online with prices ranging from $10 to $35 per concert. The symphony’s upcoming season opens Satruday, Sept. 9 with special guest Béla Fleck.

Centennial Park will transform into the ultimate playground when Kidsville Family Festival returns Saturday, Sept. 23.
Plan ahead for a fun-filled day of activities, including live music, character meet and greets, inflatable games, face painting, and more. A few other highlights of the free festival include:
