We did a Reddit deep dive to answer a few local questions from our community. Let’s get to the good stuff.

Places to go past 9 p.m. for people under 21?

Plaza Mariachi, Game Point Cafe, and Zanies are great options for ages 18+ to enjoy a later evening.

Are there any good restaurants within walking distance of Nissan Stadium?

If you’re looking for a more elevated date night pre-concert, we recommend Gray & Dudley. Hoping for speakeasy-esque vibes and happy hour? Head over to Black Rabbit. Want something quick and casual? Stop by Manny’s House of Pizza.

Anyone can recommend a local birding guide for the Nashville area?

Bookmark the Warner Park Nature Center’s webpage and regularly check upcoming programs (we spy multiple bird banding opportunities and a bird stroll). Plus, familiarize yourself with birds you might spot locally.

In-person sewing classes?

Take classes at Marguerite’s Sewing School, flex your creative muscle at one of Make Nashville’s Sit and Sew events, or get a group together for an evening with Sew Nash.

Starting over at 40 — moving to the area with no friends. Any recommendations?

We’ve got a mini guide for that. Here are a few ideas on where to make friends in Nashville from classes and organizations to our events calendar.

Nashville date ideas that aren’t the typical dinner and a movie?

Get your steps in by going for an evening hike using our guide, book a curated picnic with City Picnic Co., cheer on the Sounds at First Horizon Park, or watch a performance at House of Cards or TPAC.
