Concert
Luke Combs surprised fans with news of a second Nissan Stadium show this week. The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year will take the stage on Friday, April 14, one night before his previously-scheduled sold-out concert. Tickets are on sale.
Sports
Former Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam is joining the Nashville Predators ownership group in mid-May, pending NHL approval. Haslam is buying out Herbert Fritch’s 60% ownership stake for ~$880 million and will gradually become the majority owner over the course of four purchases through 2025. (Forbes)
Nashville SC’s home match against Toronto FC ended in a scoreless draw on Saturday night. In other news, the Boys in Gold will host reigning USL Championship league winner San Antonio FC in the Third Round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup on Wednesday, April 26. Tickets go on sale Friday.
Civic
The Metro Planning Commission recommended two redistricting maps for Metro Council consideration. The commission shared the “Proposal B” maps, which would include 15 or 17 district council members and five or three at-large council members for a total of 20 members.

The lineup is out for the 2023 Relix Music Conference — set for Monday, April 17-Tuesday, April 18 at Brooklyn Bowl. The event for live music professionals will feature conversations with Peter Frampton (April 17) and John Oates (April 18) + panel sessions both days. Single-day passes are available.
Plan Ahead
Tickets are on sale for Martinis & Jazz, the largest fundraiser for the Nashville Pride Festival. The event is set for Thursday, May 11 (6-9 p.m.) at Center 615 with a silent auction, live music, complimentary cocktails, and light bites.

A ~1.5 hour drive from Nashville is a venue unlike any here in Music City — The Caverns in Grundy County, Tennessee.
The Caverns is a connected underground cave system covering 8,000 ft of cave passages. During the day, take guided cave tours or journey deeper (we’re looking at you, thrill-seekers) for an adventure cave tour. At night, the venue hosts cave concerts and above-ground amphitheater shows.
