With new developments popping up left and right, it’s hard to keep track of them all. To help you stay in-the-know about what’s in store for Nashville, we’ve rounded up 5 of the latest developments to keep an eye on.

3-building housing project, 2nd and Peabody

This project slated for SoBro — featuring 36- and 32-story multifamily buildings and an 18-story hotel has officially been approved by the MDHA Design Review Committee. The 3 towers proposed by Boston-based developers The Congress Group will go to the Metro Planning Commission on Aug. 26.

24-story hotel, The Gulch

Sitting at the former Jackalope Brewing Co. taproom at 701 8th Ave. S., the hotel plans call for 230+ rooms as well as retail space, a rooftop pool and restaurant, and 4 levels of parking. A meeting with the Metro Planning Commission is scheduled for late September to discuss building height codes.

5-story mixed-use building, South Nashville

The Alto Apartments project would sit on 1.6 acres at the intersection of 447 and 451 Murfreesboro Pk., according to a Metro Board of Zoning Appeals document. If approved, the site would offer retail space and over 100 residential units.

5-building mixed-use project, East Nashville

A 6.8 acre site at 1411 Dickerson Pk. has sold for $6.8 million, according to the Davidson County Register of Deeds. If approved, the upcoming project will feature 260 apartments + commercial space, and is likely to break ground in mid-2022.

Amazon fulfillment center, Clarksville

Amazon’s 10th fulfillment center in Tennessee will sit in a 1,000,000 sqft facility + create 500 full-time jobs. The center is expected to launch in 2022.
