DYK pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the US? For those of you unfamiliar with the sport, pickleball shares similarities with tennis, table tennis + badminton (as well as other paddle ball sports).

Ready to grab a paddle and see what makes pickleball such a big dill? New to the area and want to establish a local club to play with? Here’s where to begin. 👇

🏓 How adults + kids can get involved

Music City Pickleball | This nonprofit social club celebrates all things pickleball in Middle Tennessee. The club offers open play, league play, group clinics, regional camps, and tournaments.

Pickleball Kids USA | Led by certified tennis and pickleball instructor Randall Bedwell, the organization promotes the sport through lessons, summer camps, and a certified coach program + is recognized as a club by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU).

Centennial Sportsplex | 222 25th Ave. N. | The athletic complex’s 8 outdoor tennis courts double as pickleball courts and can be reserved during operating hours ($5 for nonmembers, free for members).

Williamson County Parks and Recreation | Various locations | Franklin, Nolensville, Longview, and Fairview recreation centers offer indoor pickleball courts + Brentwood offers 4 outdoor courts.

Academy Park | 120 Everbright Ave., Franklin | 4 outdoor courts are available for reservations.

Hermitage Community Center | 3720 James Kay Ln. | 4 indoor courts

TOA Sports Performance Center | 215 Gothic Ct., Franklin | Music City Pickleball’s main facility is located in the center, which offers up to 12 indoor courts.
