City Editor Kyle here. I’m from NASHtoday’s sister market, GVLtoday, in Greenville, SC — and if you’re looking for a getaway filled with great food, drink, and entertainment, I’ve got you covered.

Mark your calendars for the 17th annual euphoria (Sept. 15-18), a multi-day, not-for-profit food, wine, and music festival in Greenville, SC (a ~6-hour drive from Nashville).

Last month, I attended some of euphoria2022’s Spring Fest events for a peek of what to expect from the festival this fall. Keep reading to learn how you can Try This + get a sneak peek of euphoria2022.

What we tried (with pricing):

I attended two Spring Fest Events: Champagne Chickies and Roast & Toast. Both events were unique experiences — one being a more intimate, class-like structure, and the other moreso a big party. I’m still dreaming of the gourmet fried chicken (yes, there were waffles) and crisp bubbles pairings from Champagne Chickies, and the handmade bourbon smashes, bumping band, and carefully curated bites from some of Greenville, SC’s best chefs + restaurants at Roast & Toast.

Pricing varies among individual events and ranges from about $45-$525.

What not to miss:

Make sure to study the extensive schedule of events taking place throughout the long weekend. euphoria2022 is offering a wide variety of all-inclusive events, from intimate guest chef dinners to classrooms to its signature events and discounted hotel + ticket packages.

What we’re still talking about:

How diverse and impactful these euphoria events were, from learning which bubbles pair best with fried chicken (face-to-face with well-known local chefs + wine connoisseurs) to getting hands on and “being my own bartender” to create a bourbon smash (lemon, blackberries, mint, basil, ginger beer, and bourbon — in case you were wondering.) 🍹
