First look at Cannery Hall, bringing live music back to Cannery Row in late 2023

Picture this: You’re at a concert at Cannery Hall later this year.

That’s the plan, as renovation work is well underway at the building formerly home to Mercy Lounge, Cannery Ballroom, and The High Watt — 1 Cannery Row.

New images released yesterday highlight the construction progress and offer a glimpse of what’s to come. Some of the upgrades include new lighting and sound systems, food and beverage options + improved sightlines and venue flow.

Cannery Hall is on track to open in late 2023 and will boast three stages, including Row 1, The Mil, and The Mainstage with capacities ranging from 325 to 1,200 people. While we wait for the the concert calendar to drop, swipe through the gallery below for renderings and construction photos.
