Nashville nonprofits FiftyForward and Creative Girls Rock announced plans for Bordeaux Collaborative — a new hub for nonprofits and city agencies to connect with area youth and older adults.

The 9,000-sqft facility will be constructed at FiftyForward’s current Bordeaux location — 3315 John Mallette Dr. — and anchored by Creative Girls Rock and FiftyForward Bordeaux Senior Center. State and metro government support agencies will use office space as needed to conduct classes and seminars, recruit volunteers, or enroll participants in programs.

Project timeline

The concept for Bordeaux Collaborative came about in 2019 through community needs assessments conducted by FiftyForward and Creative Girls Rock underscored the need for access to community resources, intergenerational programs, and health services for residents.

Bordeaux Collaborative since launched a public fundraising campaign to raise $700,000 toward the center’s $6 million price tag. The organization has already secured $4.5 million through grants. Construction is set to begin by spring 2024.
