Cirque du Soleil’s country music-themed show premieres this summer

Boot scoot all the way to TPAC this summer for the premiere of Cirque du Soleil’s “Songblazers .”

The entertainment group partnered with Universal Music Group for a country music-themed touring show that pays tribute to the genre’s legendary artists and modern trailblazers. The production, which features acrobatic and live musical performances, follows two main characters as they forge their own path to country music stardom.

“Songblazers” swings into TPAC beginning Tuesday, July 2. The 33-show run continues through Sunday, July 28 before traveling to seven other cities, including Austin and San Antonio (hey ATXtoday and SATXtoday). Tickets are on sale now and start at $50.
