When it comes to Nashville’s shopping scene, we love a good treasure hunt — and a good bargain. Music City is home to many fabulous flea markets, vibrant vintage shops, and resale gems. So get in, we’re going shopping.
Flea markets
Nashville Flea Market , 401 Wingrove St.
Nashville Flea Market has been in operation since 1969 and offers up to 1,200 dealers and an average of 2,000 booths on the fourth weekend each month (8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday). Market admission is free, but parking is $10 per vehicle, cash only.
Porter Flea , 401 Wingrove St.
If you like modern handmade goods, stop scrolling. Since 2011, this semi-annual event takes over the fairgrounds for a weekend of shopping each summer and winter (hello, holiday market). Times vary by day and parking is $5, cash.
Franklin Flea Market , 4215 Long Ln., Franklin
Though this is a newer market to the area, the Franklin Flea brought over 13,000 shoppers in two days during its grand opening in June 2023. Attendees can expect 500+ indoor/outdoor booths (plus food trucks) on four dates in 2024. Times vary by day on Saturday and Sunday, and parking is $5, cash.
Southern Vintage Flea , 1660 Middle Tennessee Blvd., Murfreesboro
We like our clothing best with a little vintage wear. If you can relate, browse over 45 vendors at Southern Vintage Flea (we hear there are also other vintage goodies like decor and records). The inaugural event on Sept. 30, 2023 (12-6 p.m.) costs $5 for general admission — stay tuned for additional dates.

Starland Vintage & Unusual , 2110 8th Ave. S.
As the name suggests, you’ll find plenty of novelties in this quirky shop. Pro tip: While you await for doors to open at Zanies, hop just across the street to browse.
Hip Zipper Vintage, 1008 Forrest Ave.
Each quarter, Hip Zipper spotlights a local organization and its efforts via the “just cause ” series. You also may have seen the store featured in Elle and Rolling Stone.
Star Struck Vintage , 604 Gallatin Ave.
The family-owned store offers vintage clothing, shoes, and accessories from the 1920s through the 1980s. Bonus: You can even find something for your mini me by searching the “kids and collectibles” tab.
Black Shag Vintage , 1220 Gallatin Ave.
Each item at Black Shag Vintage is hand-picked by owner Tommy Daley from all over and, oftentimes, from private sellers with rad collections. Pro tip: If you sign up for the email newsletter, sometimes you’ll receive special offers, discounts, and access to new arrivals.
Anaconda Vintage , 1063 E. Trinity Ln.
We love that this shop is open daily and located right behind Grimey’s — your post-work shopping spree is calling.
Ugly Duck Vintage , 2628 Old Lebanon Rd.
Add staples to your streetwear collection with original band tees, NASCAR, and Harley Davidson ranging from the 1990s and older.
Transmigration Vintage , 508 Davidson St.
Visit on the weekends (11 a.m.-5 p.m.) to shop men’s and women’s clothes and accessories from the 1980s and earlier. Pro tip: Follow Transmigration Vintage on Instagram for outfit inspiration.
Speakeasy Vintage , online
The store closed its brick-and-mortar in September and transitioned to online sales and pop-ups.
High Class Hillbilly , 4604 Gallatin Pk.
The vintage collection is curated by singer-songwriter Nikki Lane, and the store is open daily (11 a.m.-5 p.m.). Finding the right fit when it comes to vintage can be challenging — review High Class Hillbilly’s “sizing” Instagram highlight for recommendations.
Dashwood Vintage & Flora , 2416 Music Valley Dr.
Shop the store’s latest mid-century and vintage furniture, plants, home decór, and more via its Instagram page. If you’re in the market for extra living room storage, the wooden sideboards add a cozy touch to the space.
Savant Vintage , 2302 12th Ave. S.
Tucked away in 12 South, this quaint storefront is filled to the brim with vintage treasures from statement clothing pieces (the jacket and coat selection is top tier) to knick-knacks.
Garage Sale Vintage , Locations vary
Buy and sell your vintage and vinyl, plus, grab a margarita while you browse at the in-store bar.

Music City Thrift is part of a family of thrift stores that has been serving the southern US for 30 years. Donating your gently-used items is made easy with charity bins located outside of the store. Pro tip: Sign up for the newsletter to be the first to see upcoming discount days.
Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee , Locations vary
Pro tip: Sign up for Goodwill’s True Blue Rewards program to receive offers year-round like BOGOs and special reward days. Plus, you’ll get $5 off $25 when you join.
Southern Thrift , Locations vary
With locations in West and South Nashville that are open seven days a week until 7 p.m. (and 6 p.m. on Sundays), this thrift store is the obvious choice for a quick post-work stop.
ThriftSmart , 4890 Nolensville Pk.
ThriftSmart donates 100% of its proceeds to local nonprofits (think: New Hope Academy, African Leadership Inc., Mercy Community Healthcare, and more). It also helped launch Sew For Hope, which provides sewing training for refugees in Middle Tennessee through classes in the store.
Unique Thrift Store , 4802 Charlotte Ave.
This thrift store offers new and used items at its convenient location near Cool Stuff Weird Things and Southern Thrift. Don’t forget to check out the glassware on the shelf by the entrance.
Pink Glitter Thrift Boutique , 3854 Dickerson Pk.
Pink Glitter Thrift Boutique specializes in new and like-new clothing, shoes, and accessories for women and girls, plus donates all proceeds to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.
TenThirtyFive , 208 McGavock Pk.
The store’s community closet program allows young women to shop the store for free using a voucher every three months. You’ll find high-end brands like Michael Kors, Free People, Tucker, Madewell, and more at discounted prices.

Recognizable brands are the name of the game at this store located across from the Mall at Green Hills. Consignment is by appointment only and a minimum of 10 items must be accepted at a time for the given season.
The Luxury Label , 2120 Crestmoor Rd.
Find high-end designer apparel, shoes, jewelry, and purses at this luxury consignment shop. Bonus: We hear there might even be a shop dog to greet you when you visit.
Buffalo Exchange , 2214 Elliston Pl.
This place is known for its $1 sale and “hip” men’s and women’s clothing. Pro tip: Find metered street parking out front and a shared parking garage behind the building.
Kid Stuff , 1516 Ordway Pl., #102
Babies and kids outgrow clothes quickly. This East Nashville biz specializes in previously-owned, gently-used clothing and accessories. You can consign for 40% store credit, too.

This buy and sell children’s retailer accepts clothing sizes preemie to 20 youth, as well as equipment, toys, and books. Keep up to date on the Antioch store’s deals, events, and promotions here .
