Happy #615Day. Nashville’s own unofficial holiday pays homage to the city’s OG area code (615). This day is centered around Music City culture — featuring special activities, ways to donate, and food + drink specialsall geared toward community connectedness and resident pride.

Beat the heat

The temperature is sweltering this week, but the Ford Ice Center Antioch is ice cold. Join the Nashville Predators and ESPN 102.5 The Game for outdoor family games + food trucks (10 a.m.-3 p.m.) and $10 public skating + indoor activities (3 p.m.-7 p.m.). The 615 Day celebration will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Middle Tennessee.

Team up with the Titans

T-Rac and the Tennessee Titans cheerleaders will make stops at six Middle Tennessee businesses today to collect non-perishable food items for Second Harvest + host free Titans giveaways. The team will hold a pop-up on the second floor of Fifth + Broadway at 5 p.m. with 615 t-shirts. The Food Hall will also host $6.15 happy hour specials until 6:15 p.m.

Freebies for the foodies

Chicken Salad Chick is offering a buy one, get one free offer on its Chick Special at seven Nashville locations (when purchased on the Chicken Salad Chick app). Each person who uses the 615DAY code at checkout will also be entered to win a $250 Live Nation gift card + 615 Day merch.
