Start popping the popcorn — downtown’s entering its blockbuster movie era.
Hooky Entertainment is set to open on Wednesday, April 29 at Nashville Yards. Here’s what’s inside the 50,000-sqft venue:
Seven movie auditoriums (including a large-format SDX screen)
Seating is couch-style, with food and drinks delivered to you. Beyond the bottomless popcorn and soda, there’s a full menu with items such as Detroit-style pizza, sandwiches, shareables, and milkshakes.
“Michael” and “The Devil Wears Prada 2” are part of the initial lineup, with tickets already on sale for those movies and other upcoming releases.
Know before you go
The venue will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. Expect extended weekend hours and up to three hours of free parking with validation at the help desk.
All aboard. Cheekwood’s summer exhibition, “America the Beautiful: National Parks & Landmarks By Rail,” opens Saturday, May 2 with 10 running trains, 850+ ft of track, and 25 landmarks spanning coast to coast — from a 22-ft Golden Gate Bridge to the Ryman and Graceland.
