By 2030, TPAC will have a new home just across the river from Lower Broadway.
Yesterday, the performing arts center shared 10+ renderings of its future 307,000-sqft East Bank campus, which will house four performance halls.
A large hall for touring Broadway productions
A dance and opera house
A flexible black box theater
An intimate cabaret room
It will also have a rehearsal space, a sensory room, and a rooftop terrace overlooking the Cumberland River. The exterior draws inspiration from organ pipes and chimes, with aluminum tubes arranged to create openings and covered walkways.
TPAC’s current home will remain open during construction, which is expected to begin in 2027.
If you’re eager to try a new restaurant this weekend — perhaps one that looks this vibey inside — Fishmonger’s second Nashville location is now open in Wedgewood-Houston, with dinner reservations still up for grabs.
