Oracle Corp. has begun demolition and site prep on its 70-acre Nashville East Bank campus, set to include office buildings, a luxury hotel, a community clinic, and public green spaces. Work is underway along the Cumberland River, with full campus completion expected by 2031. (The Tennessean)

French audio technology leader L-Acoustics has opened its new headquarters, shifting its primary Americas operations to Nashville Yards. Last week, Vanderbilt University pitched to Nashville executives on a proposed 40-acre mixed-use innovation district that would transform campus parking lots into labs, housing, retail, and green space. The estimated multibillion-dollar project heads to the Metro Planning Commission on March 12, with a development partner expected by the end of the year. (Nashville Business Journal)

Nashville International Airport shared renderings of a planned six-story rental car facility and parking garage. Built in front of existing terminal garages, the project would add space for 4,700 rental vehicles and 3,000 parking spots, supporting growing business travel demand.

Nashville’s transportation director, Diana Alarcon, has resigned after four years leading NDOT. Mayor Freddie O’Connell named Deputy Phillip Jones as acting director. Alarcon, previously with Tucson and Fort Lauderdale transportation, was praised for her service, while Jones brings 30 years of city experience and recent operational improvements to the role. Belgian manufacturer Recticel Group will open its first US insulated panels facility in Mt. Pleasant, investing $49.6 million and creating 78 jobs.
