The Tennessee Performing Arts Center is setting the stage for another year of Broadway magic with the release of its 2026-2027 season lineup. Get ready for eight productions, including six Nashville premieres and the return of “The Sound of Music” and “The Phantom of the Opera.”

Drink

A second La La Land Kind Cafe location may be in the works. After drawing lines in 12 South over the summer, the Dallas-based coffee chain plans to open a Hillsboro Pike location in Green Hills, according to a Metro permit. (Nashville Business Journal)

Outdoors

McCabe Park’s playground will close from March 2 through May 4 for the construction of a new inclusive play space. A “playground goodbye party” is set for this Sunday, March 1 at 4 p.m. If you’re curious what’s coming next, take a look at the new playground renderings. (WKRN)

Williamson County’s wait is over: In-N-Out Burger opens in Franklin today, Feb. 25. The restaurant, which is located next to the company’s future eastern headquarters, features a single drive-thru lane and indoor/outdoor seating for 100+ guests. (WKRN)

Brooks & Dunn fans, clear your schedule on Saturday, Sept. 12. The duo’s “Neon Moon” tour will make a stop at Bridgestone Arena with special guests Tucker Wetmore and Caylee Hammack.

Nate Bargatze’s new game show, “The Greatest Average American,” premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC and will stream tomorrow on Hulu. The Nashville-taped series challenges contestants to prove how well they know everyday Americans, with one winner taking home $67,920 — the average US salary.

Local meal prep service Prepped Palate just opened a grab-and-go concept in Wedgewood-Houston. The shop, located on Ensley Boulevard just off Nolensville Pike, is stocked with fresh salads, protein-packed bowls, drinks, and more for its soft opening.

According to an Instagram Story shared yesterday, the biz will be open today, tomorrow, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with more formal hours announced soon.

The Wrap

If you heard someone screaming in excitement yesterday, that was just me upon learning the Belcourt Theatre will screen the first season of “Twin Peaks” in its entirety on Wednesdays in April, beginning with the pilot on April 1. With 9 p.m. start times, I’ll certainly need some coffee and cherry pie to stay awake.
