Use these tips to prepare for severe weather season. | Photo by @kirsten.lee.anderson
Tennessee’s severe weather season typically runs from March through May, but it’s never too early to prepare. That’s the idea behind NWS Nashville’s annual Severe Weather Awareness Day, which returns to Trevecca Nazarene University this Saturday, Feb. 21.
The schedule includes weather-related booths and a local media panel featuring area meteorologists, along with afternoon talks on probabilistic forecasting, notable 2025 weather events, and this year’s spring outlook. The all-ages event is free to attend, though guests are asked to register in advance.
