All signs point to Saleh

The Tennessee Titans appear to have found their next head coach, with multiple outlets reporting the team is finalizing a deal to hire Robert Saleh. While we wait for the official word, here are five things to know about the reported hire:

1. He’s a Super Bowl champion

Saleh was on the Seattle Seahawks’ coaching staff when the team won the 2014 Super Bowl.

2. That wasn’t his only Super Bowl appearance

As the San Francisco 49ers’ defensive coordinator, he helped lead the team to the 2020 Super Bowl, though they ultimately fell to the Kansas City Chiefs.

3. He was also a head coach

Saleh served as the New York Jets’ head coach from 2021 to 2024, compiling a 20-36 record across four seasons.

4. And his background goes deeper

Saleh has coached at both the NFL and college levels since 2002, with additional roles for the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars.

5. He returned to the 49ers in 2025

After being fired by the Jets and working as a consultant with the Green Bay Packers, Saleh rejoined San Francisco last year as their defensive coordinator. The 49ers finished the regular season 12-5 and made the playoffs.

Post of the Day

NASHtoday_POD_MNPSSnowPlows.gif
As you know by now, Nashville could be in for a snowy weekend. If flakes do start falling, keep an eye out for some new snow plows on the roads.

Metro Nashville Public Schools students recently named and designed five new additions to the snow plow fleet: Dolly Plowton, Frosty the Snow Plow, Blizzard of Oz, Snowella, and Music City Plow. These new additions will be among the 45 plows hitting Metro’s snow routes if and when Music City becomes a winter wonderland.
