Sprouts Farmers Market plans to put down roots in West Nashville, according to a Metro permit. If the project moves forward, the Sylvan Park location will span 23,231 sqft and operate near The Great Escape and Melissa’s Sir Pizza. (Nashville Post)

In other west side news, Soy Cubano is expanding to the space last home to Tres Hermanos this spring. The new location will feature a cafe for coffee and pastries, a full-service restaurant, and a bar. Some menu items to look forward to: mojo pork and black bean chilaquiles. As a reminder, NDOT’s Christmas Tree Recycling Program is now underway, with 14 drop-off sites across Davidson County operating through Friday, Feb. 13. Trees must be free of decorations and stands + artificial trees are not accepted.
