Pop quiz: Which season in Nashville boasts the most festivals?
We can’t definitively prove it’s fall, but the sheer volume of music, food, art, and film festivals in the “ber” months makes a strong case for autumn. Here are a few to check out before September ends:
Artville | Friday, Sept. 26-Sunday, Sept. 28 | Times vary | Walk of Fame Park | Free | The annual festival returns at a new location with large-scale art, food, music, and the American Artisan Festival.
Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival | Saturday, Sept. 27-Sunday, Sept. 28 | The Park at Harlinsdale Farm, Franklin | $183+ | John Mayer, Kings of Leon, Turnpike Troubadours, and Young the Giant headline the annual Franklin event.
Nashville Greek Festival | Friday, Sept. 26-Sunday, Sept. 28 | Times vary | Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church | $5+ | Enjoy traditional music and dancing, guided tours, and a wide selection of food and drinks.
Nashville Brew Fest | Saturday, Sept. 27 | 8-11 p.m. | First Horizon Park | $55+ | The evening will feature over 50 breweries, food trucks, live music, and lawn games — early admission at 7 p.m. is $70.
September 11, also recognized as National Day of Service and Remembrance or Patriot Day. Nashville Fire, Mayor O’Connell, and IAFF Local 140 will hold a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at 8:30 a.m. today at the Fallen Firefighter Memorial next to Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
Open
The Red Door Saloon opens its new Donelson location today, Sept. 11 on Old Lebanon Pike. The bar will offer food and beer to start, with liquor service on hold pending final inspection. Doors open at 11 a.m.
Eat
Chicago-based restaurant group Lettuce Entertain You will debut its first Nashville concept, Aba, on Monday, Sept. 15. The menu features hummus, hot + cold mezze, kebabs, and Music City exclusives such as hot honey halloumi and smoked cheddar labneh. Dinner reservations are open, with brunch and lunch to follow.
Watch
“American Idol” will tape a portion of its upcoming season at Belmont’s Fisher Center. Belmont students will also get an exclusive virtual audition day — so don’t be surprised if some Bruins steal the spotlight next spring.
Sports
VISA cardholders can now register for the 2026 FIFA World Cup tickets pre-sale through next Friday, Sept. 19. If selected, applicants will be assigned a time slot to purchase tickets on or after Oct. 1. Atlanta is the closest host city to Nashville.
Try This
Defy gravity, Nashville. Singers ages 18+ are invited to audition for the Broadway and national touring productions of “Wicked.” The open call will be held Thursday, Sept. 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Millennium Dance Complex.
