Get camera‑ready. Filming for the new ABC spinoff “9‑1‑1: Nashville” is ramping up around town, and plenty of locals are signing up to be part of the action.

One of the biggest draws so far is a downtown concert scene set for Thursday, Aug. 7. Thousands of people signed up to be in the crowd and watch a live performance from a not‑yet‑revealed country star — the kind of moment Music City is made for.

As of now, the concert scene is full, but more opportunities are on the horizon. Casting calls for “9‑1‑1: Nashville” usually drop just two to three days before filming and fill up fast. Jenny Alison Casting shares updates on Facebook, where you’ll find role descriptions, pay information, and how to apply.

Filming is set to continue through early 2026, with the production expected to create create 600+ jobs while generating over $50 million in economic impact.

Robert’s Western World was just named one of the best bars in the country — and just in time for the venue’s all-day block party on Monday, Aug. 4. Its “Recession Special” (fried bologna sandwich, chips, a MoonPie, and a PBR) is a Nashville staple, and we’re curious how many of you have had it.

Concert

River on the Rooftop, 107.5 The River’s free concert series, returns to Skydeck on Broadway this Sunday, Aug. 3 with pop band AJR. The line opens at 8 a.m. for the 5 p.m. show — and given the band’s last Nashville stop was at Bridgestone Arena, this one’s likely to fill up fast.
