Have plans this Independence Day? Events around town are selling out fast, but there are still plenty of celebratory happenings on Friday, July 4.
Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th
Join the crowd for Nashville’s free Fourth of July bash featuring Dierks Bentley, Russell Dickerson, Niko Moon, and Grace Bowers. Plus, stick around for a fireworks show set to a live Nashville Symphony performance.
Nashville Sounds and Nashville SC
Make it a long weekend of fireworks. The Nashville Sounds will light up the sky after their Thursday, July 3 game against the Memphis Redbirds, and Nashville SC will cap off their Americana Night match on Saturday, July 5 with a fireworks show at GEODIS Park.
Red, White, & Boom
Not only will you have a view of Nashville’s fireworks display from the Adventure Science Center’s front lawn, there will be themed activities, food trucks, and laser shows. Tickets start at $35.

Tennessee officials reportedly held early talks with The Boring Co., Elon Musk’s tunnel construction company, about a potential network linking downtown and BNA. Leiper’s Fork Distillery is raising the bar with a new location coming to Nashville Yards in mid-2026. The nearly 9,000-sqft space will feature on-site whiskey production, a restaurant and bar, tasting room, retail shop, and live music stage.
The downtown venue will also overlook Ascension Saint Thomas Landing and include a large patio. Founder Lee Kennedy plans to move the distillery’s 500-gallon still named “Ginger” to Nashville and scale up operations back in Leiper’s Fork.
Expect tours, curated flights, and a regular artist showcase series inspired by the distillery’s “Still House Sessions.”
