A five-star Equinox Hotel is coming to SoBro as part of Park Place, a new three-tower project from the developer behind Nashville’s Four Seasons. Plans also include condos, apartments, a spa, and 50,000 sqft of open space. Construction is expected to begin next year. (Nashville Business Journal)

Subculture Cafe’s Nolensville Pike location will close at the end of May after nearly a decade in business. Visit the family-run spot for lunch or dinner to revisit favorites like the churrasco sandwich and hot chicken ramen. The Smyrna location will remain open.

51st Deli is expanding to Brentwood with a new location at CityPark. The opening date hasn’t been announced, but with signage already up, that means breakfast burritos and sandwiches likely aren’t far behind.

Two new exhibitions open at the Frist Art Museum on Saturday, May 31. “Venice and the Ottoman Empire” features over 150 artworks from seven Venetian museums, while “Ellen Altfest: Forever” showcases paintings inspired by mindfulness and living in the present moment.
