From our team

Our seasonal Parents’ Gift Guide is in the works, and we want to feature your business’s product or service. Secure your spot just in time for Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations.

Our most important meal of the day

Thick slices of French toast topped with powdered sugar, fresh berries, and whipped cream, served in a creamy tres leches sauce.

Brunchin’ ain’t always easy, but it is necessary. Whether you’re on the hunt for fluffy eggs, fried chicken and waffles, or mimosas, the options can get as overwhelming as the lines at times.

Weekend musts

Lona, 200 4th Ave. N.
Order the traditional guacamole (there’s crispy bacon and lump crab guac varieties, too) before digging into tacos and tres leches French toast.

Turmeric & Co., 975 Main St.
Shakshuka, biryani, and breakfast sandwiches are just a few of the selections.

Frankies 925 Spuntino, 925 Cherokee Ave.
Some items to note include the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and pancakes with roasted fruit and Frankies 457 olive oil.
A chilled glass of bubbly served with a flight of colorful juice mixers for a DIY mimosa experience.

Mimosas

The Gumbo Bros, 505 12th Ave. S.
Not sure what to pair with the mimosas? Consider the Alligator benny, the hot honey chicken biscuit, or the brioche BLT.

Stompin’ Grounds, 201 8th Ave. S.
If it’s a “mimosa kinda morning,” try the restaurant’s three varieties.
A brunch more this way

The Wrap

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a treasure for many reasons, and events like last Saturday’s collaboration with the Bob Dylan Archive in Tulsa remind me why it’s such a gem. While the museum is always worth a visit, I’d suggest keeping an eye on the calendar to catch live performances and panel discussions.
