A proposed development named Germantown Green could bring new businesses to the area along the Magdeburg Greenway. A Metro document outlines plans for ground-floor retail and restaurant space, with a coffee shop, yoga studio, and boutique among potential tenants. (Nashville Post)

BJ Hot Chicken is going up another spice level with its fifth area restaurant opening next month. The Goodlettsville location at 120 Rivergate Pkwy. will serve hot chicken sandwiches, tenders, and more. (The Tennessean)
Biz
Bar Louie’s Nashville location at One Bellevue Place closed. This comes after the Texas-based chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, with 14 locations expected to shut down nationwide. The Gulch and Murfreesboro restaurants remain open at this time. (The Tennessean)
