What do Mozart, “Star Wars,” and Dolly Parton have in common? They’re all part of the Nashville Symphony’s 2025-2026. Here’s what the group orchestrated for you:
A stacked season...
... with more than 80 performances across five different series. In addition to classical programs, Jamey Johnson, Ben Rector, and films like “Home Alone” + “Frozen” are just a few of the events with symphony accompaniment.
Giancarlo Guerrero’s departure
It’s the first season in 16 years without the musical director, though he’ll return for select performances, including one with soprano Renée Fleming. The season highlights several new faces at the podium.
World premieres and live recordings
Catch the world premiere of Amanda Gorman’s poetry set to symphonic music + live recordings of Mason Bates’ “Passage” and Suite from “The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs.”
An encore for Dolly
