There’s much in store for Gaylord Opryland through spring 2027 as the Nashville resort embarks on a multi-phase expansion.
The centerpiece of this transformation will be an additional 108,000 sqft of meeting space, including a ballroom, breakout areas, and pre-function space. The hotel said the expansion will “solidify its status as the largest non-gaming hotel by exhibit and meeting space in the US.”
The renovations don’t stop there — an additional phase, set for completion by the end of 2025, will deliver:
Multi-million dollar upgrades to the Governor’s and Presidential ballrooms
A 550-seat sports bar with a tasting room
A 6,200-sqft event lawn and a 3,000-sqft pavilion

The sports bar and event lawn are part of a $40 million initiative to transform the Magnolia Pool Courtyard into the new Magnolia District.
