Drink Up Week is finally here and we have a feeling it’ll be the toast of the town.

Today through Friday, July 26, we’re celebrating the entrepreneurs, mixologists, venues, and beverages that make Nashville go ‘round.

As you know, we’ve created an interactive map of can’t-miss deals offered by local businesses in Music City. Here are the top deals our NASHtoday editors have their eyes on this week.

During the week, City Editor Dylan is off to Hillsboro Village for a pre-movie margarita at Supper Club on Belcourt — the lightly spiced Date Night marg is $10. On Saturday, she’s picking up BOGO classic milk teas at Eat Bubbles before her trip to the Richland Park Farmers Market.

With temps in the mid- to high-80s this week, City Editor Skylar is looking forward to cooling off indoors with a shopping trip at the Mall at Green Hills, followed by Doughbird’s $7 frozen cocktails. Bagelshop’s “Quiet Book Club” event returns today, July 22 — the perfect opportunity to try the seasonal Sappily Ever After (iced cinnamon mocha topped with a maple cold foam with flavors reminiscent of a chocolate chip waffle) for $4.

We hope you enjoy sipping your way through our city this week. Cheers to you and happy Drink Up Week, Nashvillians.

Watch

Eat
  • Calling all “Hot Ones” fans. Nashville’s World of Beer is teaming up with the brand for a chicken wing eating contest on Monday, July 29. Only 10 contestants will get their hands on the “fiery flavors” — here’s how you can register.
Answered
  • Last week, we asked which of these four music videos was not filmed in Franklin. Most readers chose Madonna’s “Live to Tell,” but the correct answer is Paramore’s “Still Into You.” While the band has filmed music videos in the area, such as “Ain’t It Fun,” this one was filmed in Austin, TX.

Let’s meet some of the featured speakers:
  • Jeremy Cowart | Photographer and artist
  • Scott Mulvahill | Bassist, singer-songwriter, and inventor
  • Shauna Sprague | Manager, Intelligent Automation and Analytics at Amazon
