  • Step into this 1970s-inspired rooftop with fire pits (first come, first served), igloos, and a holiday lounge tucked inside a 1956 retrofitted Greyhound bus.
Rudy’s Rooftop Retreat, Virgin Hotels Nashville | Open through end of December
  • No need to stay indoors. Experience the hotel’s new heated outdoor pool, along with campsite-inspired dinners, warm cocktails, and festive cookies.

Development
  • The Nissan Stadium name is here to stay. The Tennessee Titans announced a 20-year naming rights deal with Nissan for the team’s new domed stadium, set to open in 2027. Construction on the 60,000-seat, 1.85 million-sqft stadium is slated to begin next year.
Eat
  • East Nashville’s Noko has been named one of America’s top 100 restaurants for 2023 by OpenTable. The Asian-inspired, wood-fired restaurant opened this spring and has a 4.9-star rating on the platform — guests are especially loving Noko’s creative cocktails.

  • G by Guess is now open at Opry Mills. The store offers a variety of denim, apparel, and accessories + is located near Entry 2 across from Lucky Brand Outlet.

  • The Tennessee Titans fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-14 yesterday afternoon, bringing their season record to 3-7. The team returns to Nissan Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 26 to take on the Carolina Panthers. Score tickets.

Whether you’re searching for a Black Friday alternative or wish for a post-shopping outdoor adventure, Tennessee State Parks is bringing back its annual Day After Thanksgiving Hikes on Friday.

Many of the free, guided hikes are suitable for all ages and abilities and range from peaceful strolls to off-trail excursions.

Pro tip: Individual hikes typically fill up quickly, so be sure to register in advance.

Join a guided hike

  • Radnor Lake | 7-9 a.m. | This 2-hour moderate hike (1.5 miles) involves pulling invasive-exotic plants at the park’s new 12-acre tract.
  • Harpeth River State Park | 9-10 a.m. | Meet at the Harris Street Bridge parking lot for a “moderately difficult” 1.6-mile hike.
  • Long Hunter State Park | 1 p.m. | Bring the family for a short 1-mile hike on the Inland Trail as Ranger Jeremy shares about survival skills and life of the 1700s.
  • Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park | 2-3 p.m. | This hike is on a flat and paved sidewalk and is suitable for all ages.
