Will you be one of the ~100,000 race fans downtown this weekend for the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix? Sunday’s 80-lap, 168-mile NTT IndyCar Series race will speed past Nissan Stadium, over the Korean War Veteran Memorial Bridge, and into downtown.

Now that you’ve secured race tickets, know which roads are closed, and have the concert schedule bookmarked, it’s time for the fun to begin.

Festivities officially begin on Thursday, Aug. 3 with the return of FanFest. The free fan event takes over the Lower Broadway area from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with race and show cars on display, as well as a Pit Stop Challenge featuring six NTT IndyCar Series drivers and teams at 6 p.m.

If you’re heading to the festival grounds around Nissan Stadium Friday-Sunday, check out the fan map for music stages, Ferris wheel rides, water stations, and a family area with mini-Grand Prix racing.
