With nearly 30 TN distilleries participating, the festival celebrates the best in regional spirits, wine, and local brews. Attendees can expect tons of tasty samples, lawn games + live music, and full access to The Hermitage’s 1,100+-acre grounds.
Best of all, Sip of History is super dog-friendly — your pup will receive a commemorative bandana, a professional pet portrait from Wendy Jo photos, and can get their energy out in the The Hermitage’s on-site, fenced-in dog park.

PDK Southern Kitchen & Pantry is expanding with a forthcoming West Nashville location (4116 Charlotte Ave.) — across from Sylvan Supply. The eatery serves wraps, burgers, seafood, and other dishes at locations in Bellevue and Mt. Juliet. Stay tuned for an opening date.
Closed
The Nations’ El Paseo Cantina permanently closed on Monday, according to a post made on the eatery’s Instagram page. It is unclear at this time why or what will become of the space at 905 51st Ave. N. 🌯
Civic
Smoking and vaping products are officially banned from certain “age-restricted venues” across Nashville — in other words, venues with a 21+ entry requirement. The new ban does not apply to tobacco and vape stores or cigar, hookah, and vape bars. (WSMV)
Announced
The Country Music Association’s Women’s Leadership Academy is set to return. The program launched in 2022 and is a dedicated coaching group for “high-performing women leaders in country music.” Applications are open through Friday, March 31.
Concert
Former Cinderella frontman Tom Keifer will bring his band’s “Live Loud” tour to the Ryman Auditorium on Friday, Aug. 18 with special guests Winger and John Corabi. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 3. 🎸
In other concert news, Phil Wickham and Brandon Lake come together at Bridgestone Arena on Thursday, Aug. 24 to perform their “Summer Worship Nights” tour. The artists will be joined by KB and tickets go on sale Friday, March 10.

Registration for Metro Schools’ early learning program is officially open. Parents can enroll their children into Pre-K until Friday, March 31. Pro tip: Children must be four years old on or before Tuesday, Aug. 15. Review required documents.

“Guitar Town: Picturing Performance Today” debuts in the Frist Art Museum’s free Conte Community Arts Gallery on Friday, April 21 and will remain on display through Sunday, Aug. 20. The exhibition highlights local photography of musicians performing in the city’s venues and all over. 📸

Attention, parents. Spring break starts in a little over a week for Metro Nashville Public Schools and most area private schools.
If you haven’t made plans, we’ve rounded up some fun and educational activities for kids of all ages — even the kid at heart.
A hidden entrance near the zoo’s Historic Grassmere Home and Farm will take guests on a prehistoric dinosaur expedition. The DinoTrek trail features 20 life-size animatronic dinosaurs that move, growl, hiss, and roar.
Enjoy hands-on programs + request a spring break activity kit at the box office through Friday, March 31. Some of the curated spring break programs include creating hip hats inspired by artists and musicians (Sunday, March 12) + book making (Saturday, March 18).
These Harry Potter-inspired classes, lessons, and experiments will explore magical creatures while campers conquer potions, utilize forces, and compete in the Triwizard Tournament.
