It’s almost sweater weather, Nashville. From pumpkin patches and apple orchards, to corn mazes and Oktoberfest celebrations, we’ve rounded up six activities to keep you busy this season (plus four haunted houses for those spooky fall nights).

Franklin staple Scout’s Pub officially opens its Midtown location today — 101 17th Ave. S. The 150-seat Southern gastropub features a dog-friendly patio and private dining space. The initial menu includes dinner and happy hour with lunch and brunch offerings to be added in the coming weeks. 🍽️ (Nashville Business Journal)

Attention, hockey fans. The Nashville Predators vs. Tampa Bay Lightning preseason game on Thurs., Sept. 29has been moved to Bridgestone Arena as Florida prepares for Hurricane Ian. The puck drops at 7 p.m. and tickets are on sale now. 🏒

There is no more wondering about the “What Ifs.” Kane Krunch, a chocolatey rice cereal launches exclusively at Nashville and Knoxville Kroger locations. The cereal is inspired by country musician and Tennessee native Kane Brown and can be purchased for a limited time only. (WZTV)

Country artist Craig Morgan is hosting a book signing at 5 p.m. on Thurs., Sept. 29 at Barnes and Noble in Brentwood — 1701 Mallory Ln. Festival
FirstBank has been named the presenting sponsor of the 37th annual PumpkinFest — which takes place in downtown Franklin on Sat., Oct. 29 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and brings in $1.5 million annually. Over 150 craft vendors and 30 food vendors will be present + activities like costume contests, a kids zone, and chili cookoff.
Cause
The Child Advocacy Center has announced the 12th Annual Turkey Tee Off will be held on Sat., Nov. 5 at Indian Hills Golf Club — 405 Calumet Trace, Murfreesboro. The golf tournament includes lunch and a chance to win $10,000 from a hole-in-one contest. Registration is now open. 🏌️
Pets
Berry Farms Animal Hospital has partnered with Saint Goose and the Williamson County Animal Center to host Bow Wow & Bubbles — a pet adoption night. The event held at Saint Goose (134 2nd Ave. N., Franklin) on Fri., Oct. 7 from 6-9 p.m. will also feature an art station, photo booth, and pup cups.

The national event takes place in 100+ cities each year, bringing cyclists together for a cause. All you need is a bike, a lock, and $15-$20 to buy food to donate along the way.
This year, Cumberland Transit organized a ride in the 615 on Sat., Nov. 19 with a departure from the shop — 2807 West End Ave. — at 10 a.m. You can make your own route of five stops to get five items used to make a Thanksgiving dinner, or follow the suggested route provided to you. Items will be donated to Second Harvest.
