Foodie finds

If your heart is reserved for someone special, make sure your dinner seats are as well. The following businesses are serving up special menus and tasting experiences:

  • Arrington Vineyards | Only one date remains for the Sweet Escape Tasting Lodge, offering 45 minutes of wine, chocolate, and dessert pairings.
  • The Pool Club at Virgin Hotels Nashville | We’re gonna keep on dancing at the Pink Pony Cabin. This Chappell Roan-themed brunch service has a Pink Pony Paloma, red waffles, and photo ops.
  • Goo Goo Cluster | Indulge in chocolate tastings, uncover liqueur pairings, and learn to craft your own chocolate-inspired cocktail using Mozart chocolate liqueur.
  • The Loveless Barn | Say “I Love You a Brunch” with tickets to this dining experience featuring a kissing booth for Metro Animal Care and Control’s adoptable four-legged friends.
  • Miel | Take the guesswork out of your order with the West Side’s three-course prix fixe menu ($125+) featuring lobster + leek gougere, shrimp bisque, and blood orange chocolate torte.
  • Deacon’s New South | In addition to the prix fixe menu ($120) with burrata, prosciutto di parma, and lobster tagliatelle, make the night extra special with concierge services (preorder flowers, champagne, and chocolate truffles).
  • Five Points Pizza | What better way to share that a pizza your heart is taken than over “the perfect pairing.” The pizza shop has teamed up with Woodland Wine Merchant for a menu that matches pies with wine.
  • Blue Aster | Beyond its four-course $105 dinner, the restaurant will offer Love Song, a specialty cocktail with Toki whiskey, strawberry-infused syrup, lemon juice, strawberry liqueur, and a velvety egg white finish.
  • STK | On the steakhouse’s red heart-shaped menu is the 6-ounce wagyu filet, 3-ounce wagyu fried rice with egg, and “Cupid’s Cloud” — a festive take on the restaurant’s viral cotton candy dessert.
  • JW Marriott Nashville | The pop-up dessert lounge allows you to pair your champagne, wine, or craft cocktail with a variety of sweets, including a dessert wheel, cheesecake, and cake pops.

Hugs Paws and Kisses — Fido should feel the love, too. Treat them to their own custom embroidered bandanna at The Modern Dog Company and help craft a canine-friendly mocktail the next day at Urban Dog Bar’s workshop.

Focus on your fitness

If your love story runs on a little competition, sign up for the Cupid’s Chase 5K at Shelby Park or Hendersonville’s Couple Shuffle. Maybe hitting the pavement isn’t your thing — the Sweet Heart Big Band Dance is also taking over Shelby Park, or you could meet your SWOLEmate during Tone & Tap’s HIIT class at Monday Night Preservation Co.

Music and movies

“It Takes Two: Opry 100 Celebrates Country Duos” was curated by The War And Treaty and features performances by other duos, such as John Carter and Ana Cristina Cash + Jon Randall and Jessi Alexander. The same evening, Soul Food Poetry Cafe will present “Love Letters Vol. lll” at City Winery with spoken word and music from two R&B supergroups.

Sit down for movie screenings at Pont Neuf Bar or The Hampton Social, or put your rom-com knowledge to the test at The Amsterdamian’s trivia night.

A martini with pink and chocolate is on the left, a vase of roses and a Goo Goo sit in the middle, and two other specialty cocktails sit on the other side.

Mix and mingle

For the person whose dating profile needs a refresh, The Finch will have a photographer available and an extended happy hour menu with five themed cocktails. Plus, you won’t strike out at Pinewood Social’s singles night.

Bit by the anti-love bug

Sing your broken heart out by purchasing Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown’s Cupid Is Stupid Karaoke package, available 12 to 10 p.m. from Thursday, Feb. 13 to Sunday, Feb. 16. It’s $175 for four people and includes shareables and large-format beverages. Of course, you can also pour one out for your love life at Sidebar’s annual Drink-182 anti-Valentine’s pop-up bar or post up at one of our favorite spots to cry.
