Looking for the next new restaurant hitting Music City’s food scene? Nashville has already welcomed at least 20 new spots this year, and more are on the way this spring.

March openings

Present Tense, 509 Houston St.
The restaurant and listening bar, which relocated from Hart Street to a more intimate building in Wedgewood-Houston, features roughly 12 dishes — available a la carte or as an omakase experience for $88 per person.

Cledis Burgers & Beer, 719 8th Ave. S.
Cledis’ third Nashville location features fun decor and a menu that goes beyond smash burgers — think loaded fries, hoagies, nachos, and a pork tenderloin sandwich.

April openings

Lion’s Share, 4410 Murphy Rd.
Opening Saturday, April 11, this Sylvan Park spot from Robbie Wilson and Emily Perry-Wilson features live fire cooking, a raw bar, and a wine program.

Ocean Prime, 990 Signal Crossing
The seafood and steak restaurant is set to open on Tuesday, April 21 at Nashville Yards with a main dining area, two covered terraces, and private dining rooms.

News Notes

Traffic

Speed cushions and other traffic calming measures will expand to more neighborhoods this year. NDOT identified 25 areas for prioritization across 16 districts. If you live in one of the selected areas, community meetings and a neighborhood vote will determine what moves forward.
