Yes, chef. The MICHELIN Guide is heading to Nashville for the 2026 American South Ceremony on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at The Pinnacle.

How we got here

The American South guide debuted last year and covers Tennessee, the Carolinas, Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi (alongside the existing Atlanta guide). In its first year, 21 Nashville restaurants were recognized, including one-star awards for Bastion, Locust, and The Catbird Seat. This fall, Music City will take center stage as chefs from around the region find out who earns stars and other distinctions for 2026.

What they’re saying

“Nashville stood out as a fitting backdrop for the ceremony thanks to its vibrant entertainment culture, local food influences, and shining culinary talent,” said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide.

Heads up: The ceremony will be limited to invited guests.
